Always make sure that you ask to see any trainer's or behaviourist's own well trained and behaved dogs - it's one way you can evaluate, if not validate their methods and theories before you get started. And just to be clear, it shouldn't matter whether your dog is aggressive, fearful, anxious or over-excitable, competent professionals can handle their dogs in any of these situations to help you achieve positive outcomes with your dog's behavioural problems.
